So I've been working and working with this brick to balance it over the last few days, for what seems like hours, to no avail. All the while, the process has still been purposeful, intense, meditative, cathartic. Then during our garage sale this weekend, I looked at it again (in between bartering with old ladies over $0.25 or $0.50 for the paperback novels). within fifteen seconds it stuck. Freakish. So all said - a few hours and fifteen seconds, but I like it.

That is truly Awesome, Rockitome!!!!!
the brick is brilliant! I love the contrast from rock to brick.
Sorry I didn't get to the garage sale. Its best I didn't since I don't need more stuff.
I tried to get a pic of a stack done on a bus stop in Osoyoos, but G was driving too fast. If it is still there when I go back, I will get it...the rocks were pretty big!
I need your email - write it in One River...I'll get it before I head out of town again.

PS
Can you do a stack with the brick in the middle?
kiki
It all depends on how the brick finally liesas to whether or not another will go on top. I am trying to change things up, with smaller stones between larger, etc. and starting with small. The effect is intense. I had one up this aft. but didn't get shots of it.
What fun. I like the look and idea of different extremes of rocks. You must be so mellow. Having spent afternoons on the beach rock balancing I know how incredibly relaxing and intense it can get.
Howdy love ya all!

PS
the stack in Osoyoos was just a giant rock rubble beside the bus stop. Too bad! It must have been really hard to make, the rocks were huge.
Heey where are ya? ya must be finished unpacking by now no?
I don't know how you do it, but it is cool!
